A FourSide Hotel with a French flair

The Saarland capital of Saarbrücken will be given a new top address for business travelers and tourists: By the spring of 2019 at the latest, the FourSide Hotel Saarbrücken will open its doors. The Hamburg-based Centro Hotel Group is currently renovating the building of the former Residence Hotel located in the city center. The group invests in its own brand FourSide, which has existed since 2015, with a total of 145 design rooms, a fitness area and meeting and seminar rooms. Saarbrücken will be, next to Braunschweig, Trier and Vienna (two houses), the fourth location of the business brand in the four-star segment. Three other FourSide hotels are under construction in Salzburg, Hamburg (Ahrensburg) and Munich.

In fact, the proximity to France will play a key role in the new FourSide Hotel Saarbrücken. All of the newly refurbished 145 rooms and the public areas have a touch of French savoir vivre. The reopening of the hotel is scheduled for the beginning of 2019 - after nearly 12 months of renovation work. "Saarbrücken is our 5th hotel of the brand FourSide in Germany and Austria. This new opening is a further step in our strategy to operate locations in all attractive business and tourist destinations in Germany and Austria", said Marc Kamphausen, Cluster Manager of FourSide Hotels. "Since entering the market three years ago, we will be gradually expanding our network of locations in Germany and neighboring countries."

The Hamburg Centro Hotel Group operates 75 hotels in Germany and Austria with around 7600 rooms. The Centro Hotel Group currently consists of the Centro, FourSide and Boutique brands, and from the end of 2018 the new NinetyNine Hotels concept will be added. There are currently eleven hotels in different planning and construction phases. The FourSide brand currently consists of four hotels in Braunschweig, Trier and Vienna
